Traumatic stress is far more widespread than ever believed. The ground-breaking
ACE Study at Kaiser Permanente shows that 66% of adults interviewed had experienced
at least two severely traumatic events in their childhood. And a more conservative
study on children and teens shows that up to more than 40% have endured at least

For over 35 years, I’ve been helping athletes, trainers, and regular folks develop
the power of their inner athlete through my Mental Fitness program. My program offers
dozens of techniques to athletes and coaches through weekly interactive, personalized

What is pain? Pain is a signal, a warning or an alarm bell, which alerts us to an

Sometimes, the pressure of caring for someone who is elderly, dependent, or who
has a chronic illness can lead to a condition called "caregiver burnout." Caregiver
burnout is a reaction to stressful life and health challenges that overpower you
emotionally. Our bodies are designed to feel stress and react to it. Not always
